Toys, toys and more toys

We both felt very slightly off colour today, probably as a result of our booster shots yesterday, so didn’t rush our morning routine.  We did eventually swing into action. MrMacD designed and printed some cards, I cleared everything out of the laundry ready to be cleaned and painted.  Firstly I had some sanding to do and the cleaning up afterwards.  We went for a little wander around the garden looking at what was growing and trying to figure out what some plants and trees might be.  No doubt all will be revealed in time.  After lunch MrMacD went to post the cards and drop a couple of items off at the charity shop, then got roped in to helping with a Rotary activity.  Meanwhile I got rid of all the dust in the laundry then washed the walls ready to start painting tomorrow.


The Rotary Club is holding a “Toyarama” event on the weekend. The number of toys that have been donated is incredible.  They all had to be moved into the shop on the Main Street where the event is being held, then sorted into categories.  Tomorrow and Friday they will be priced, ready for sale on Saturday and Sunday.
