View from the top

I could get used to starting the day with excellent coffee and croissants, today’s one was white chocolate and raspberries. I neutralised it’s calorific effect by walking to Horizon 22 which took a couple of hours following part of yesterday’s route. Pall Mall was covered in police officers and South Korean flags. The President was having lunch with the king. Later in the day we spotted the Prince and Princess of Wales whizzing by in Kensington.

The 360 degree view from the top of Horizon 22, even on a dull day, was well worth the hike. At 254m it’s higher than the Shard and free.

My cousin doesn’t do lifts so I met her afterwards and we spent the rest of the day catching up, having lunch, and visiting the Natural History Museum. We loved the elephant sculptures in Spitalfields, extra.
