Morning red

I was drinking my coffee whilst enjoying the rather lovely morning light.  At this time of year, the sun rises behind the trees that are on the boundary with our neighbour.  The only window facing this direction is that in our ensuite bathroom, so we can't really enjoy the sun.  But we can enjoy the associated light.

This photo is taken facing south west - it's the direction I generally take sunsets.

The day didn't actually live up to the "red sky in the morning, shepherd's warning" promise - it was a lovely autumn day.  What's the betting it chucks it down tomorrow when we have to leave the car with the windscreen company for several hours and twiddle our thumbs in New Ross.

The extra is more of a "record shot" to remind us that, after spending a good few days trying to work out (manual was a series of unenlightening pictures, phone calls to Bosch were worse than useless, attempts to find YouTube videos were frustrating, etc etc) how to put new string onto our strimmer, this afternoon W finally beat it into submission.
