Exploring an old family album

This is Mr hazelh's grandfather's photo album. In the wedding photograph he is the groom. There is also a shot of him at work to the left of the wedding photo. Following retirement as an army bandsman, Mr hazelh's grandfather became a professional musician. Here he is playing his bassoon. The instrument is now in the possession of Peter Wesley of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Today Mr hazelh has been extracting pictures from the album to scan for future sharing.

As for me, I have been supermarket shopping, put away laundry, popped out for a run, written thank you letters, cooked a tomato and orzo dish for supper, caught up on online admin, and looked after Mummy hazelh. I may have also eaten some chocolate. It's good to be back home again :-)

We have a couple more episodes of Colin from accounts to watch, so will attend to these after supper.
