Spieluhr

Mrs C has been getting creative this afternoon on the themes of reflections and shadows. I tried taking a photo over her shoulder, to get a flavour of what she was doing, but all I ended up with were some blurred reflections of myself, the walls and the ceiling!
So I opted to make the most of the afternoon sun and just take a photo of this little hand cranked music box we found when clearing the in-laws’ house a few years ago. I considered various titles for today. “Silent Night” because that’s the tune the music box plays. “The Musical Box” by Genesis because that’s what it is. And then, whilst Googling the word “Spieluhr” to see what it meant, I discovered that German heavy metal band Rammstein had recorded a track of that name. So I went with that, though, musically, it’s not to my taste!
Apart from that bit of creativity, not a lot else has happened today. Partly because we were worked hard at our PT session this morning. We normally have this on a Wednesday morning, but we’re out for a posh lunch tomorrow and didn’t think they’d appreciate us turning up hot and sweaty after a strenuous workout!
