Living After Midnight

Five weeks after the end of the play, we finally found a free slot in everyone’s diaries (well, nearly everyone) and cast and crew met at The Borough in Lancaster for a meal, a few drinks and a chance to chat about the play.
A very pleasant evening in convivial company. Plenty of reminiscing about what happened on - and off - stage during the run, but also some good discussion about the next Footlights production - Blackadder. Definitely one I’m going to audition for - I’d love to do that show and it would be good to work with the same gang again. Obviously, that does all depend on me actually getting a part, but I’ve put it out there that I’m definitely interested!
A cold day today. I managed to keep warm this morning with a decent workout in the gym, but had to give in to the cold this afternoon and turn the heating on for a couple of hours. Being out tonight meant I could at least take advantage of being in a warm pub! They had insisted that we booked a table because we were a “large” group, but that did seem a little unnecessary because we were the only people in dining area all the time we were there.
Good to see everyone again and hopefully we’ll all be part of Blackadder in due course.
