build me up buttercup!

now i don't know if they're classed as weeds or not, but they're adding damn fine colour to the landscape this year! Buttercups, glorious yellow colour this year and plenty of them!

good long sleep til 7.30am, then up breakfast and out for a lovely walk to the wood. met alot of people of the way, someone who knew mum, and then John from the Watnall Wood Facebook group. the bird feeders have been stolen from the woods, in daylight! i bought some today from wilko and will take them up tomorrow.

we're back by 10am, and then off to the Cemetery with flowers, as it's Fathers Day. How i wish i could say 'Happy Father's Day' to my dad....

back home and it's time to clean up my house! time for a damn good clean, top to bottom (even though the sun is willing me outside with a glass of pimms!).

lawn mowed too, and tomatoes potted out (my seeds from Guernsey ones!).

top dinner, a lovely piece of Pork, dauphinoise pots, and veg. then after ironing and making the bed, i'm chilling outside, making the most of a relatively warm evening, and light nights!

lovely weekend...its ended too soon....
