Ever heard of 'La Tesis de Nancy' by RJ Sender? I remember it as an amusing book. It is about an American girl who comes to Spain in the late 60s to learn Spanish. Life in Spain has changed a  lot since then, but all her problems, misunderstandings and experiences are really funny!
