Sagrada Familia

We had coffee in bed and a lie in and then we both worked for a few hours at our desks. I’m now ready for the online assessment for tomorrow and I did an hour’s Aptis marking too.

We then wandered out and one thing led to another in our chats and, unusually for us, we both decided we fancied a dish from home, like fish and chips or steak pie. A quick Google told us about Michael Collins bar, right on Plaza de Sagrada Familia. We think we may have been before, decades ago. Anyway, we headed there. Very good steak pie ( sadly, short crust pastry rather than puff, but ok) veg and chips. There was a band starting in the back room shortly afterwards, so we paid our 5 euros each and moved through. A bit different for us, not something we’d do every Sunday, but all good fun.
