Bare root buying!

Our local nursery had just received its bare root shrubs today, at good value, so we headed over in the mild drizzle to buy what we needed for the back borders in our garden. Initial preparations to plant them after lunch. They are in buckets for 24 hours. We walked one of our village circuits this afternoon before it got dark. In England all big shops have to close by 16h on Sundays. I like this weekly punctuation mark!
