Village Christmas Lights switched on

Our village was en fete this evening. Choirs, bands, open air craft market, funfair, street food and at 1730 the lights were switched on. They all worked and looked great! Racegoers mingled with villagers, clergy and even our MP put in an appearance! Events like this, and last week’s Remembrance speak volumes about place and community. Our village has both these in enormous quantities.
