A Bottle Of Beer

Another wet day and I struggled a bit for inspiration for a blip. I did catch up with some Sony Masterclass videos, including some very useful ones on landscape photography. Although the presenter was using a very similar camera body and lens to mine, in the rain, I wasn't inspired enough to pop out and risk it anywhere myself.

Instead I tried some lightpad photos of some recently expired roses, but in the end I opted for this (also expired, i.e. empty) beer bottle.

I can't believe it's over three weeks now since the wedding, how time flies.

I'd brought the bottle back from the hotel in Aying. I actually drank it a while back. It was very nice, and the bottle top made a colourful addition to my collection.

Keeping with the German theme today we had a Skype with daughter#2 this afternoon. We are looking into the possibility of spending Christmas with them, in Weinheim with her new in-laws.
