Last Day

All too quickly it's our last day in Wigtown. After checking out of the cottage we went up to the Torhouse stone circle again. And then back for a last trip round the bookshops to buy a few more and see J in the Old Bank again. The weather was beautiful in the morning but soon got grey and very misty - around Biggar we were driving through mist/low cloud for much of the way. In the evening watched United in the Challenge (aka 'Diddy') Cup where they were comprehensively outplayed by Falkirk, currently playing in a league below. It ended 2-4 but that flattered United who just didn't seem as up for it as their opponents. The 'real' cup next week, when hopefully they will be better, but ultimately it's the league that matters most.
