Seeds and Sunshine
The flower seeds I ordered earlier this week arrived today. They came neatly packaged in a brown cardboard envelope and had a had written message inside wishing me ‘happy sowing’. What a lovely thing to brighten up the day. I’ll sow the seeds in the spring as I’m too late for autumn sowing.
We are expecting a lot more heavy and persistent rain tomorrow so I’m not sure when Merlin will get a walk. He doesn’t like having to wait and usually sits looking most upset and indignant. Every so often we open the door to show him the rain and remind him why we are not going out. He takes one look and runs away but seems to quickly forget the wetness.
Today I’m grateful for:
- The lovely package of flower seeds which arrived in the post. I have visions of cheerful blooms at my allotment and in the garden.
- Andy defrosting the freezer - it’s been needing to be done for some time.
- Two walks in the sunshine to break up the day and help me feel more energetic and positive than I would otherwise.
