Life Springs Eternal

As we were hosting another whisky tasting, today was partly taken up with tidying the house.
After a swim, I was in the garden when I noticed that the hollyhocks were still in bloom, even though we thought they'd had it a while ago.
Closer examination showed new life sprouting from some of the dead heads.
Just amazing.
Not sure if I need to do anything to ensure we will have flowers next summer.
You can probably tell from that remark that my fingers are not terribly green
