Six weeks today

It has started. After a two hour meeting on church matters I joined a school friend for a catch up lunch. The place was already festooned with Christmas decorations. I suppose Christmas Day is just 6 weeks away today.

We had an enjoyable lunch and as I happened to be in this area this (very wet) evening I thought I’d give you the full force of the decorations.

Not that we have any right to complain. We have at last got round to eating the spare turkey crown in the freezer and also found the last small Christmas pud. See attached. So feeling very full and Christmassy already (and yes we had all the trimmings). More turkey sandwiches to come.
