Not Madeira

Madeira doesn’t have a natural sandy beach. They import Moroccan sand for two locations to cover their black sand beaches,

No, it’s not Madeira. 
It’s the other island of this archipelago, Porto Santo.

I took the day trip on the wonderful Lobo Marinho, the car ferry. A terrific day. Visiting the stunning 9km pure sandy beach. And touring the island.
