A Misty Start To The Day

It was a misty start and a beautiful day for a walk along the canal. So Mrs W, Dylan and I set off from the canal head in Pocklington and walked to Melbourne (about 5 miles). We stopped part way as we came upon a canal side remembrance service at the site of a wartime plane crash (I know that fellow blipper Jankerman will know the details). We thought it would be rude not to pop for a quick drink in the Melbourne Arms before heading back (another 5 miles).

We got back home just as Mr Kit and
Mr W arrived back from the golf course and so was perfect timing for a cuppa and mince pie before our visitors headed off after a really lovely weekend with them.
