To Get Us In The Mood

I headed out first thing to collect my friend A and we headed over to Halifax to meet up with our friend Mrs W. I have always wanted to visit the Piece Hall and it seemed a good half way place to meet as Mrs W was travelling from Cheshire, especially as there was a Christmas Artisan Market on to get us in the mood.

The Piece Hall was built in 1779 as a cloth hall for handloom weavers to sell the woollen cloth "pieces" they had produced and now many of the trading rooms have been converted to independent shops and cafés.

We had a lovely day catching up, starting to (think about) do some Christmas shopping and generally eating and drinking too much.
