Remembrance Sunday

Today we woke to grey rain filled skies, so different from yesterday!  We did sleep until after 8am though as Stella-Rose didn't stir until I went into her.  We were very pleased that she was relaxed and happy with us,  until her daddy came to fetch her late morning.
Because we had S-R, we didn't go to the local war memorial this morning when all the various churches and groups laid their wreaths but went this afternoon when there were obviously very few people but rather better photographic opportunities.  This morning we watched events at the cenotaph on TV, alongside snatches of a film about Santa!
