Road less travelled

We headed over to Tinto Hill this morning - there were bright blue skies and the sun was shinning brightly. However it had been freezing overnight and conditions underfoot tricky. It was also rather windy.  MH & I decided to head back down after about 2km and whilst the rest battled trudged on we enjoyed a seat in winter sunshine and took a stroll along the road. 

We then met up with the others and enjoyed hot drinks in the nearby cafe.

We popped into Biggar Craft Fair on way back and had an impromptu blip meet with Nadine Pierce. HazelH then headed back home taking the good weather with her.  

Chestnuts are now being roasted on an open fire.
