Trooping the Colour

This year I was fortunate enough to have a front row seat in Horseguards to view the Trooping of the Colour ceremony and was sat a few tens of yards away from the Sovereign.

There was so much to photograph it was difficult to pick a subject for the blip. However this photo shows the essence of the ceremony, with the Queen's Colour of the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards being paraded in front of the Queen.
