Volvo - a Swedish icon

I spent a lovely day on the island of Marstrand to the north of Gothenburg, visiting the fortress of Carlstens Fästning, followed by a coastal walk around the small island. At the fortress a classic Volvo 142 (2-door c1968) had been parked there for quite a while and was covered in a coating of pollen.

It was such a beautiful day with so many sea views, but in the end I went for something a little more unconventional. Did I make the right choice ? Probably not !
