Female Goosander

I've seen the goosanders a few times recently. Pleased to manage a blip of one today. A very chilly and frosty start but more lovely sunshine for my morning walk. 

Over coffee a long overdue catch up with my friend G. Good to get all her news. This afternoon we're off to our younger son's house for birthday cake. Will be fun to wish him a happy birthday for last week. He would probably have let it go by without any fuss but the girls encourage their dad to celebrate!
