Gingerbread house restaurant

I know this restaurant for eons and today we decided to drive the 25 minutes to Mapleton to enjoy the last glorious fall colors together as well as a “sturdy” home cooked meal.
Already yesterday, on my way out to Portland, I had made that plan as I thought: this year the fall colors are exceptionally strong. With the sun on the leaves it looked spectacular. We had to see that together.

Of course today the light was more muted but it still was beautiful.
