This technic Lego model is exceptionally complicated to build. It is hard for the older eyes to see where some parts should go, it is often hard for the arthritic hands to wriggle some parts into their place and if all of a sudden some little wheel falls out of the body of the model, that was put in
place 30 steps ago, then despair rises…
Tonight I was able to avoid a minor catastrophe by building a little scaffold with some putty and wax, to hold up the wobbly model while readjusting some parts. That success made us both happy. I wonder though, whether we will be able to finish this. It was meant for children of 11 years and older and I often think that their smaller and more nimble fingers are better for this model than ours.
A rainy day; some reading, and gym.
