Too Nice Not To
A busy day taking Jamie to an appointment in Dolgellau and then a good meeting with a friend who might help him with some support. As I headed home the low sun was lighting the hills beautifully so Meg and I went straight out again. By the time we reached the Dysynni riverside path the sun had gone behind a bank of cloud over the sea but there was still some golden light above. A lovely peaceful, if cold, walk before darkness fell. An hour at pottery painting fish - the fish bowl is hellish fiddly work!
This evening I cooked up some Broccoli and Stilton soup, perfect winter fare and it went well with the gammon roast picked up half price on the way back from the walk plus Sweet Potato fries. Yum. Then it was off to The Magic Lantern for a couple of hours of folk song, guitar and fiddle from local talented musicians Catrin O'Neil and Jonathon Davis. Brilliant it was boyo!
