Roll With It

Some Days Something Makes You Smile

Attempting to get back to normal Mrs S drove me to my macular clinic appointment, I was concerned that I might cough at the wrong moment, when the needle was in the eye, but all went well enough.
Lunch was a supermarket meal deal in the car park before heading home to the RNA committee meeting at the rugby club.

Falmouth is such a great place to live, people are super generous, a lot of them young students I suspect. Walking Paddy today, first time out for three days, we found a book on the bench.
A free book from a Book Fairy.

“What Is A Book Fairy?
Book fairies are people who, when they’ve finished reading a good book, want a unique and fun way to pass it on to the next person. They pop an official book fairy sticker on it, which reads ‘take this book, read it & leave it for the next person to enjoy’, and they might even add a ribbon to dress it up as a gift. When they’ve prepared their gift, they will hide it in public to be found…”

With it beginning to rain I brought it home to place inside a sealable plastic bag before taking it back tomorrow. I also went straight onto the website and ordered my own labels and stickers, this is something I will definitely be doing.
Once a week is the target.

Having missed last nights Poppy Appeal shift I wrapped up a lot more warmly and put in two hours tonight.
Home for a bowl of stew and the final Jason Bourne film in a Mrs S and I ‘binge watch’ over the last two evenings.
