Goldfinch

Lots of little birds in the garden today but nothing hugely exciting. I was pleased to see a goldfinch though and I think it looks handsome against the blue sky. 

A domestic day for me with some admin to do. I started to do some festive planning  too. Eek. Saw the first Christmas tree in a house when I took Flora out. Ridiculous to my way of thinking but it's not my house so I need not worry. 

Everything I offered on the local WhatsApp group following the clear out of books and toys yesterday has gone. I revel in things going round and being used again and again. 

Today is my younger son's birthday. We'll be seeing him on Saturday for some cake.
