Majesty

This is the end of a long journey across Europe from Finland to Provence. Before leaving the Alps, it seemed logical to get a shot of Mont Blanc (4.810m) - the highest peak in the E.U. YOu can't always see it in full. But it was my luck to have another clear and sunny day. I drove up a narrow road I know above the valley below. The morning mist was starting to clear off. And voilà, Mont Blanc was there towering above the whole massif ! The picture was taken at 1,500m high above the valley below that lies at 900m. It was worth the trip. Such a stunning mountain and such a beautiful landscape. Majesty came naturally to my mind for this shot.
