Family resemblance

Some lovely old letters and photos of Rob’s father have come to light, in some documents in a Canadian relative’s house. He kindly shipped them over and there is quite a treasure trove, including this old photo of Llewellyn and his young wife with their first two children. It must be around 1946.
I couldn’t help but be struck by the resemblance between him and our son Andrew, just look at those noses! It’s wonderful to see how people live on through their descendants and I think this gives people some sense of roots.
Old photos like these are really precious and I do wonder in this digital age whether a whole swathe of history will be lost somehow?
