Whoops - how did I get here?
A different kind of day today. It was Bookham Village Day and I was walked up to the village where we saw a colourful procession of hundreds of play school and infant school children all dressed up in the theme of nursery rhymes. They were led through the village by a bright yellow vintage car and a silver band. Apparently this happens every year - seriously strange! Joe used to take part when he was small. Mum was concerned that I might not like the noise so we moved away a little as the procession approached. That's why she didn't get a good photo this year.
Great walk this afternoon though, more my kind of thing. My first time walking through this vineyard. It is called Denbies Wine Estate, near Dorking and I must say I did enjoy walking through it. I am not supposed to stray from the main path but I was very good and soon as I was told I came running back to my people's.
Diary note: I have been a good boy today!
I have to comment here on the wonderful response received yesterday to Roo's 100 Blipday entry. I was bowled over by the incredible number of kind comments, stars and hearts we received and we even hit Spotlight for the first time. Incredible! Thank you again - I have so many great journals yet to visit properly but intend to try and get to you all very soon!
