STOP ! In the name of love

Thank you all so much for your comments on my Blue Dye failure.   I will certainly try your suggestions next year.

Secondly - apologies for the really poor quality of the photo. 

I took this screen shot - literally took a shot from my Laptop, but it is a still from our Car Dash Cam. 

this is approximately 2 seconds from my almost killing a child. 

I am literally around 30 ft from him.  I was traveling at 24 miles per hour. 

That's him. Stepping onto the road, looking at his mobile and head phones in. 

At this point. I slammed the brakes on,  and the car wibbled from side to side, I wobbled to a halt about 5 feet from him; at which point he still had not seen me.   

He turn and looked at me and waved and carried on. 

Himself was scream "What the actual )((£&$£(*$)"

I was just sat there, praying that my car crash incontinence hadn't kicked in. 

The lady in the car on the corner was sitting open mouthed, shaking her head. 

He never stopped his walk across the road, he barely paused, he never turned round once and saw the skid marks. 

He was seconds from being  at least broken and he had no clue. 

Please tell your kids not to cross the road whilst reading phone with their headphones in.
