Papaver Bracteatum

… great scarlet poppy.  So the sign says at the Botanic Garden, Dunedin.  I walked up there this morning arriving soon after 8.30 so the sun was low.  A fresh morning (only 5C first thing) but just so peaceful in the gardens.  Robert Burns presiding over the Octagon in extra should have been yesterday’s blip if the motel’s WiFi was up to it.  Home now after a long day of driving.
