The Good Bench Guide

The title actually refers to the image in extras. We visited Barrow Common - a walk that has become one of our regulars on our visits to this part of North Norfolk and not for the first time we had our pack lunch on this bench. It was a pleasant if blustery day but much of the route was sheltered. There were a few more fungi around than last year, in particular, large numbers of these Rosy Bonnets. On our way back to our flat, we stopped off at Brancaster Staithe Harbour and picked up a couple of year ticks in the form of Common Gull and Grey Plover.
