Grand World Tour?
In NO particular order; neither logical nor chronological. It just occurred to me that there is absolutely NO guide to scale, as seen by comparing yesterday's Vs. today's (Extra)
I thought "That motto looks strangely similar to South Africa's";
so I checked, as you do? And found:-
""Unity makes strength" is a motto that has been used by various states and entities throughout history. It is used by Belgium, Bulgaria, Haiti, Malaysia and Georgia on their coats of arms and is the national motto of Belgium, Bolivia, Malaysia, Georgia and Bulgaria." WIKIthingy neglected, in its thumbnail, to tell us language, or spelling; NOR did it acknowledge S. Africa. You can see Belgium, on today's; I've just checked "Surth Efrica's" and it seems to be in either Dutch or Afrikaans. -
Belgian - "Eendracht Maakt Magt" (Dutch)
S. Africa - "Eendrag Maak Mag" ( Derived from Dutch?)
Aside - apropos dammall:-
Mam knew a bloke who either was, or knew, Afrikaans; so she/I learnt "Eendrag Maak Mag" early on.
The only other thing I remember?
"Môre is nog 'n dag" - "Tomorrow is another day".
AND
Not a Bonfire in sight!!!
