We got Siofra back at lunchtime after a very thorough chat with the vet and a look at her X-rays. She has so many breaks in the front radius bone that under the circumstances it was very fortunate the bone behind was completely unbroken and will act as a natural splint, while the others heal with the aid of a metal implant. A few months ahead before she is clear and able to gallop again. She'll spring into Spring.
