Bank of Poppies

… of the Californian variety.  The Clutha River runs at the bottom of the bank and the walking track can just be seen top right of the pic.  Close up of the poppies in extra.  A stunning walk at this time of year.  
I’m happy to say that the coffee shop had not been overrun by tourists this morning and there were cheese scones aplenty!
