What's in a name?

It was a day at the races to celebrate Father's Day. The skies cleared just long enough to enjoy sitting outside in the box seats above the raceway. There was a cool breeze, cocktails and good food along some fun placing small bets on horses with funny names. My dad seemed to enjoy it very much.
In the process of picking horses to bet on my sister pointed out a horse named Bricks & Clicks. This somehow got my mom talking about our infamous day at The Brick House Tavern and Tap. My sister said, "You never told me the name was Brick House." At which time I accused her of not reading my Blip!! *Hmpf* In any event, she started laughing and said that if she knew that was the name she would never have gone in. She referenced the song by the Commodores called Brick House. I had never known the name of it or understood the lyrics to that song although I've heard it many, many times. It wasn't my kind of music really. However, after seeing and hearing the lyrics I can say I understand now why a restaurant called The Brick House should have rang some bells in my head as to just what I was walking into. So, now I know.
