Bobcat in the neighborhood

Laney and I went for our usual afternoon walk today. I was hoping the neighborhood bear (statue) had been repainted in a costume suitable for the month of November. But alas, it was still painted as the wicked witch of the west (Wizard of Oz) for Halloween.
But...around the corner we saw a big mule deer buck running and as I got my camera up to catch the action, there was this bobcat giving us a look for spooking its prey!
Urban wildlife can be pretty exciting.
