Humph!!!

We got away lightly with Storm Ciaran in the end thankfully. Plenty of rain overnight with some gusts, nothing too bad. Nothing like the Channel Islands and the SW. The amber warning area for the SE was reduced and shortened although we still had more than enough rain today. The Medway is running high.

I procured some Voltarol this afternoon on the recommendation of several blippers. Thank you. Mobility has improved again, easier walking, greater movement in the limbs, still a fair bit of pain when sitting and getting up. I’m hoping the Voltarol will make a difference

Today’s challenge was to replace an under cupboard strip light which had failed. I thought I’d replaced them all with LEDs when each one failed and was not expecting to have to replace any more.

Seems I was wrong again. It’s the same old annoying process. The new light comes with a different connector than the old meaning it’s not just a matter of unplugging, unclipping the light and clipping the new one in place. No, the old wire has to be unpinned and removed and the new fitting cut, connected up and pinned into place. Am I the only one who has this problem?

Oh yes. And another thing, the clips to hold the light in place are different too meaning a new set of holes to be made to secure the clips.

On another matter blipped FrenchItalia posted an image of a book called Bagging Sussex Trig Points: https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3166470597974688603. I know there is a blipper who is bagging Kent Trig Points but I can’t remember who. Maybe they’d like to exchange notes with each other? Or it could be a blip challenge?

Edit: yesterday’s rose survived and is merrily bobbing away.
