Will it survive the storm

Susan remarked on her rose boldly snd proudly flowering. I saw it catching the sun and thought Blip! And so it proved.

A morning of admin and sorting through accumulated memorabilia, filing some of it in the recycling bin.

A bit of a walk this afternoon. Soreness has moved more over the hip rather than my back. Gradually easing except it’s painful to stand up from a sitting position and walking the first few paces. Most comfortable in bed!

Thank you for continued advice and good wishes. It has to be much better by Thursday next week for the long flight to California.

We spend a good while this evening playing together. We’ve decided 5 songs to practice; Cat Stevens, Father and Son; Darius Rucker, Wagon Wheel; Simon and Garfunkel, Mrs Robinson and The Boxer and Bruce Springsteen Eerie Canal.
