Here there and everywhere

Kirkcaldy, Falkland, Authermuchty, Dundee

Backblipping

Bb took D to Dunfermline in the morning again, but then came back home. The two of us then went to Kirkcaldy to see a few old haunts and did a little purchasing in Dunhelm on the prom (lamp, laundry basket, table mats). The new prom was looking great and I liked the big red heart statue at The Path end. The weather was dreich, windy and wet though, so we didn't walk along it, as planned.

Then onto Falkland where we took my main blip (also see extra :-), had a coffee, and onto Auchtermuchty to see the Jimmy Shand statue.  On a whim, busboy then decided we'd go to Dundee. I was up for it and so off we went.  All good, although the rain was chucking down. No time to get into the new V and A, but I was happy to see it from the outside, together with the Discovery.  Then the fun started as it took us ages to get back on the bridge to get back to Fife!  A combination of rain, rush hour and a one-way system all contributed to a much-longer-than-expected exit. However, we got there eventually!

Back to Glenrothes, too tired to think about cooking and so we picked up D and went to Mariano's Italian restaurant on St Clair Street, Kirkcaldy. We all had different things, all very nice and warming on such a cold and wet night.

All in all, a really good day.
