Día de los Muertos

Today is the first of two days of the Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebrations. It may sound creepy and the faces and skulls may look creepy, but it’s really a beautiful celebration to recognize our loved ones who have passed. I’m hoping to go to the celebration in Tubac on Saturday. There will be a procession and viewing of altars. Maybe I’ll have my face painted if they do adults.

In other news…My car battery conked out on me yesterday morning. The automobile club couldn’t come until this morning. I had been on my way to Tucson to return the computer and to pickup my groceries. I was able to do both today.
