…around with my new iPhone. The battery on my iPhone 11 Pro was kaput. So kaput, in fact, Apple told me that it could explode. Wouldn’t want that to happen.

I had a decision to make. I could replace the battery and keep the phone or look into a trade in. The phone turned out to be worthless with a bad battery. Assuming there wasn’t a problem, Verizon offered me $700 on a trade in of my iPhone 11 Pro towards a $1000 iPhone 14 Pro.

My solution: I drove the 50 miles to the Apple Store and had the battery replaced. Cost $70. Then I sent the now perfect phone back to Verizon, got the new one with the $700 discount. My Verizon bill will go up only $8 a month. Lots of numbers in there so I hope you followed.

I posted the very first picture I took. No thought went into it (obviously). I simply snapped the closest thing to me, which happened to be a 7-up bottle and a cord. Now I can talk on the phone without fear of an explosion setting my hair on fire.

In other news…I was supposed to get an MRI on my lumbar spine this morning but I forgot. Oops.

Doctor: How long have you had this problem?

My doctor told me I had amnesia or insomnia. I can’t remember which one and it’s making me lose sleep.
