Reflections
Today is the feast of “All Saints”. We attended 9:00 Mass with the school students. The fifth graders dress as the saint who has most influenced them. I remember well helping my grands with that project. They write a paper on why they chose that Saint and present their ideas to the school. We picked up some hand soaps I ordered for stocking stuffers and then bought some gifts for a “shoebox” our parish is collecting for the needy. We are so blessed and it is our duty to share our blessings. Also bought a few more stocking stuffers for the grands. Hubby took me to lunch; had a delish burger and salad. We stopped at a waterfront parking lot to get my blip. We are under a gale force warning and I expected to see choppier water. I guess the creek is more sheltered than the Patuxent River. We put away all our treasures and napped. We are also under a frost warning for tonight. Hubby helped me cover my vulnerable garden plants with tarps. It would be a shame to lose my beautiful lettuce plants. Hubby had a KofC meeting but otherwise it will be a quiet night. Sending each of you wishes for a peaceful end of week. Stay safe. Thanks for your visits. “Reflect upon your present blessings of which every man has many - not on your past misfortunes, of which all men have some”. - Charles Dickens
