I did not take any photos today due to being stuck in traffic for hours so here is a family photo taken yesterday.
We left Kent at 12 ready for our journey North hoping to be at Mike’s parents by 2 o’clock. A very slow journey meant we did not arrive until 4 ! Ridiculous !
Anyway Mike’s Dad was still very sleepy but slightly more with it.Still not really drinking, an on going battle. Pete has got him some special jelly sweets to at least get some fluid into him.
Another slow journey to Luton and our accommodation for the night.A meal in the pub next door. They had run out of fruit for our choice of Eton mess for pud so changed it to apple pie. When we were served the waitress said we could have the puddings on the house as they had run low on icecream too !
