I'd decided at the weekend that I wasn't going to try and get a Young Fathers ticket for tonight after a couple of weeks of umming and aahing but....on Monday night I got offered a free one off my pal so I found myself at The Usher Hall after all. It really was an offer I couldn't refuse.

We got there early to catch the support - Nadine Shah, who was excellent. I took one photo all night and it was this one of her and her band. Hardly gig photo of the year but there you go.

As for Young Fathers, well everyone knows about their live reputation. They didn't disappoint.

I owed my pal some pints in exchange for the ticket. Pub ensued, it all ended up being summat of a late one.
