Tiny blooms
I bought this as a small plant a few years ago from Lucy at Lip and Cloich, a wonderful garden which has been developed from a bare hillside on the west coast of the island. It obviously likes the climate here as it has grown and filled a large space in one of the borders. I like it for its sculpted leaves and tiny understated pink flowers.
About an hour ago I was wandering round the garden with Bertie in the moonlight and I was entranced by the beauty of the evening. The moon is losing a little of its fullness but is still glowing brightly, giving me a moon shadow and allowing only the brightest of stars to compete with it. The planet Jupiter is leading our moon across the sky and I was quite excited to be able to spot at least two of Jupiter’s own moons with just my binoculars. With a cool breeze sighing through the trees it felt quite magical out there in the moonlight.
