Fine fungi

There are days when the weather is grey and wet and  I wonder how I’m going to get a good/interesting subject or scene to photograph for my blip. However, something usually presents itself, such as these fungi sprouting in a spiral up the trunk of a birch tree. And of course I can always turn the lens on the bundle of fur that we call Bertie, but I have to be careful not to over-expose him as it might just go to his head and give him delusions of grandeur!
